Simplified Maintenance I & II 2004 GM CARS & TRUCKS & Newer With Gasoline Engines and with\ GM Oil Life System (OLS) Required services are described by the terms Maintenance I and Maintenance II. Use Maintenance I if the “CHANGE ENGINE OIL” light comes on within 10 months of the vehicle purchase or when Maintenance II was the last service performed. The first service should be Maintenance I; the second should be Maintenance II. Alternate between the two schedules thereafter. Additional charge to evacuate & recharge system AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION DIAGNOSIS $85.00 There are several steps in completing all phases on an electronic transmission diagnosis. We will perform a control test, stall test and road test to check shift points, check fluid levels & condition of fluid, perform electronic systems test of on-board computer system. Road test as necessary. ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS $85.00 Performed only when anti-lock brake light is on, includes removing wheels if necessary, electronic scan test and self test. BRAKE SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS $42.50 Includes check of brake fluid leaks, condition of lines and hoses, inspection of brake pads, brake rotors & road test. COOLING/HEATING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS $85.00 Pressure test system, check for leaks, check fan operation, thermostat, inspect upper & lower radiator hoses & inspect all heater & by-pass hoses. COMPUTER ENGINE CONTROL DIAGNOSIS $85.00 Perform test using SERVICE BAY DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM & analyze. This computer system interfaces directly with the vehicles on-board computer to analyze fuel injection, emission system for any failure codes or malfunctions present at this time. The fee for specialized diagnosis starts at $85.00 we will not exceed $85.00 without your notification & approval. CRUISE CONTROL DIAGNOSIS $85.00 Check cruise switches, all linkage for binds or kinks & operation of other cruise control components. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK $85.00 Check fuses & circuit breakers as necessary. Check affected connections, pinpoint test circuits, trace wiring harness & perform electrical continuity test. FRONT SUSPENSION DIAGNOSIS $42.50 Check shock or struts, check wheel bearings and check steering linkage. Road test. OIL LEAK DIAGNOSIS $42.50 Visual inspection-visually inspect engine for leaks, top side & under vehicle as necessary, clean area with solvent to detect leakage, road test as necessary. VIBRATION & DRIVE LINE DIAGNOSIS $42.50 Includes balancing tires as necessary. Visual inspection of driveline & road test.
